First off is this absolute beauty from Emily O'Brien. We've always loved traditional style 'Mum' tattoos, and this is a lovely way to pay homage to your parent. Emily's work is bold and solid, and we're a huge fan of the little blue flowers here!
Another traditional style tattoo from black-worker Matty Darienzo. This one is super old school, but the text here is quite unique, giving the tattoo a lot of charm.
This one is a really beautiful piece. The text translates to 'In my existence, you are the essence', which is a really wonderful and fitting tribute to a mother. The beach-scene silhouette is a simple and understated way of showing the beautiful bond between a mother and child. A really sweet tattoo!
This tattoo done by Guen Douglas at Brighton Tattoo Convention is a really cool idea, and a subject that we've never seen before as a tattoo, so it's a really unique piece, and a reminder of a woman's breast-feeding journey and unbreakable bond with her child. We're loving the subtle details here, like the pattern on the baby's blanket. It's a really incredible piece done by an extremely talented tattoo artist.
We think it's great how simple this piece is! Done by Little Rach Tattoo, a candy love heart featuring the word 'Mam'. This is probably one of the most northern tattoos we've ever seen, and we absolutely love it!
