Nostalgic 90's Tattoos | Luis Bonilla Tattoo Ink Set from Radiant Colors

RSS
The 90's were an interesting decade, filled with wonderfully tacky pop culture that was literally everywhere. If you were a 90’s child then you’ll surely remember coming home from school and watching Nickelodeon.  Rugrats, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, and Beavis and Butthead were amongst some of the many cartoons that were popular at the time, fashion was crazy, and the only thing you needed to worry about was deciding which Spice Girl was your favourite!

They were much simpler times, and if you still long for the memories of those days, then you can always treat yourself to a 90's inspired tattoo! Back then, if you were a young teen growing up in the 90's, the only way to obtain a tattoo would be to get one of the little black ‘tribal tattoo’ style bracelets or chokers (which of course looked very cool!), but those days are over, and a nostalgic 90's tattoo is the perfect way to pay homage to your childhood.

At Magnum Tattoo Supplies where we’ll soon be stocking the Luis Bonilla Set from Radiant Tattoo ink, which consists of some pop art cartoon inspired inks, we love anything 90's related, so why not check out these nostalgic 90's tattoos with us?

First up, a personal favourite- Miss Frizzle from the Magic School Bus. Not only was this one of the best tv shows of all time, but the PC games for the Magic School Bus were great too! What an amazing tattoo to pay homage to the Frizz. Artist unknown.

‘Move it football head!’. How can anyone forget Hey Arnold? With one of the catchiest theme tunes of all time, Hey Arnold was one of the best loved tv shows on Nickelodeon. Artist unknown.

A gorgeous tattoo done by Ashleigh Wilkerson. We’re sure you’ll recognise who these rectangular purple glasses belong to!... Chucky from Rugrats (of course!).

An old school twist on Taz, Tasmanian Devil – one of the best Warner Brothers characters of all time! Artist unknown.

Poor Rocco – he never seemed to have much luck! We’re loving this super cute Rocco's Modern Life tattoo! Artist unknown.

Who could forget when Tamagotchi’s literally took over our lives? The pressure and responsibility of keeping your Tamagotchi alive could be too much to handle at times. This tattoo is the perfect piece for a Tamagotchi lover.  Done by Lindsee Bee Tattoo.

Barbed wire and script was so 90's! It’s great to see that this kind of tattoo is making a comeback with old school tattooers.  Really cool work. Artist unknown.

So there you have it! Some hauntingly nostalgic 90's themed tattoos to remind you of your childhood. For better or worse, the 90's happened, and a little bit of the terrible fashion, wacky tv shows and 90's pop culture lives on in all of us today.

If you’re looking to create some 90's inspired cartoon tattoos then keep an eye out on our website for the Luis Bonilla Tattoo Ink Set from Radiant Colors. You won’t want to miss it!
