Tattoo Goo offer a whole range of aftercare products, but our best-seller from this brand is the Tattoo Goo Original Aftercare Salve - 21g tin. Tattoo Goo products contain only natural ingredients consisting of things like olive oil, cocoa butter and wheat germ oil, and are enriched in vitamins. It is designed to soothe the skin and promote faster healing. It forms an occlusive humectant barrier, which draws and traps moisture to the surface of the skin and stops the tattoo from drying out. Unlike some aftercare products, it's completely free from petroleum and lanolin, so it doesn't clog your skin pores or impact negatively on the colour of the tattoo. It's available in a handy tin, and can be purchased in display packs of x 24 which is ideal for studios.
This brilliant aftercare product is formulated to be hypoallergenic and developed specifically for tattoo aftercare. The tattoo cream hydrates skin and supports restructuration of the skin barrier, and soothes irritation. The cream allows an increase of 62% in hydration levels of the superior layers of the skin after the first hour of application. (Study realised by the Dermatological Institute Idea). It's conditioned in an airless bottle with an unbreakable airtight system which prevents oxidisation and guarantees the purity of the formula until its last use. Available in 50ml and 100ml in single bottles and studio packs.
We love the tattoo aftercare from The Aftercare Company. It's enriched in vitamins A, D and E which support healthy skin. The emollients it contains hydrate and moisturise the skin whilst the essential fatty and linoleic acids nourish and soothe. It's 100% natural, free from paraben preservatives, petroleum, lanolin, nut oils, and is approved by Cruelty Free International. (Not tested on animals). It smells great too! It's available in packs of 24.
We're huge fans of the YAYO process butter and aftercare from YAYO Familia. It works simultaneously as a process butter for during the tattoo, and also as a moisturising aftercare solution. It's free from lanolin, petroleum and synthetic products and allergens, and is 100% vegan. There are different scents available to choose from. YAYO's aftercare film - YAYO Guard is also a great hit. The breathable medical adhesive film protects and heals new tattoos from the inside-out.
