Solid Ink - Horitomo Sumi Set (4oz)

The Solid Ink Horitomo Sumi set was developed in collaboration with master tattoo artist Horitomo, created specifically to achieve the smooth tones used in traditional Japanese tattooing and black and grey work.

This set includes four carefully balanced shades, allowing artists to build depth, gradients, and background shading with control and consistency. The range makes it easier to move from deep shadows to soft transitions without needing to mix washes during the session.

Designed with Japanese tattoo backgrounds in mind, the tones work particularly well for wind bars, smoke, waves, and other background elements, while also providing flexibility for general black and grey tattooing.

The inks in the 4oz Sumi set come packaged in a resealable bag decorated with Horitomo's artwork.
