The Solid Ink Old Pigments set is a throwback to traditional tattoo colour formulas, using classic powder pigments instead of modern synthetic colour bases. These are the tones that built tattoo history - deeper, heavier and made to hold strong over time without relying on orange, brown, magenta or violet base pigments that are known to fade.

Each colour is created using traditional pigment mixing methods, like building browns from red, yellow, green and black, and oranges from only red and yellow. The result is a bold, stable palette designed specifically for old school tattooers who value durability, tradition and consistency.

This set includes 10 colours for the price of 9, all in 2oz bottles, with opaque bottles inspired by classic packaging from the early tattoo era. A colour reference image is included, since the tones can’t be seen through the bottle.
