8 Iconic Celebrity Tattoos
There have been some great - and some not so great - celebrity tattoos over the past few years. Here at Magnum Tattoo Supplies, we have summed up 8 of the best tattoos!
Miley Cyrus has a handwritten note from Yoko Ono tattooed on her shoulder.
In December 2019, the singer memorialized a handwritten note from artist Yoko Ono on her shoulder.
"I'm proud of U, Yoko," the tattoo reads.
Miley Cyrus has been a long-time fan of Ono and her late husband John Lennon. In 2018, she recorded a cover of their song "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" along with their son, Sean Ono Lennon.
Rihanna has a tattoo of the Egyptian goddess Isis sprawled across her chest.
The Barbadian singer got the tattoo of Isis, who symbolizes eternal motherhood, to honor her late grandmother.
"Goddess Isis - Complete Woman - Model for future generations - #GRANGRANDOLLY - always in and on my heart #1love," she wrote on her Instagram, describing the tattoo's meaning.
Rihanna also has a tattoo of a falcon with spread wings on her ankle. The ink mirrors imagery of Horus Behdety, the god of the midday sun, from the Ptolemaic Period in Egypt.

Johnny Depp's forearm tattoo honors both his son and his role in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
The actor's forearm tattoo, which depicts a sparrow flying over the sunset with "Jack" below it, has a double meaning.
The ink honors his son Jack and memorializes his iconic role as Captain Jack Sparrow, who has a similar tattoo in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
Zayn Malik has a lightsaber tattoo that glows in the dark.
The former One Direction member's middle finger tattoo served as a tribute to the Star Wars franchise. The thin lightsaber was filled in with UV ink to make it light up under a blacklight. We think this tattoo is super cool!
Malik went to celebrity favorite JonBoy in New York City for the ink in 2016, and the tattoo artist shared a photo of the finished product on Instagram.
"May the force be with you," he wrote.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson transformed his iconic bull tattoo, based on his old nickname of "the Brahma Bull"
It's reported that it took 22 hours(!!!) for the Rock's tattoo transformation.
He wrote on his Instagram, "Every detail is a reflection of my own personal history. From the cracks and heavy damage in the bone representing life's hard lessons I've learned over the years. Just like scars and wrinkles — I'm so grateful to have 'em because they're earned."
He also has a large Polynesian tribal tattoo on his chest and shoulder that tell a story about his life, his ancestors, and his culture.
Mike Tyson is known for his iconic face tattoo.
The former boxer told Sports Illustrated in 2016 that he didn't regret getting the large tribal tattoo.
"A lot of stuff happened out of this tattoo, a lot of good stuff," he said. "Other young athletes come to me and said, 'It's because of you they call it the Mike Tyson.'"
Travis Barker is also known for his many tattoos.
The drummer told GQ that he has about 70 percent of his body covered, except for some he lost in a car accident when his legs suffered third-degree burns and required skin grafts. He started getting them when he was 15.
Scarlett Johansson has a tattoo that covers most of her back.
Johansson's tat features an intricate set of roses, alongside the image of a lamb. Many believe it's an homage to her 3-year-old daughter, named Rose.
She has more tattoos, including the words "Lucky You" and a horseshoe on her ribcage, a sunrise on her arm, a bracelet around her wrist, two circles on her ankle, as well as more flowers.
