Sponsored Artist of the Month - Col Cooper | Fusion Tattoo Ink

RSS
February's Sponsored Artist of the Month goes to an extremely talented artist who has been on our team from the beginning.  This month we're showing our appreciation for Col Cooper, who specialises in Japanese style tattoos.

When we first met Col, he was working at Lord Nelson Tattoos in Chester, and last year he moved over to Gentleman George's Tattoo Parlour in the heart of Liverpool City Centre.

Tattooing since 2002, Col has worked all over the globe in multiple countries. He has won numerous awards from conventions such as; The Great British Tattoo Show, Manchester International Tattoo Show, and the Warsaw Tattoo Convention. Col specialises in Japanese artwork, but he's certainly not one to shy away from other styles, and he also enjoys doing other types of work, including traditional and neo-traditional.

A fan of the Fusion Tattoo Ink range, Col produces work that is always bold and bright, and we love seeing the vibrant tattoos he creates each week, and we're sure you will too!  If you love Japanese style tattoos, then check out Col's brilliant tattoo work here.

First up, a really bright and bold Daruma tattoo. The thick lines and abstract nature of this piece really makes it stand out.  It's an interesting twist on a traditional Japanese themed concept. Beautiful work.

A gorgeous Japanese themed hand tattoo done by Col. Again, another piece that has an abstract feel to it with the larger lining group used.

Col has lots of customers who come to him for big pieces like this sleeve which features some beautiful peonies. A work in progress.

Another stunning sleeve from Col which is made up of some Japanese style skulls and flowers.

A gorgeous Japanese style frog piece. The colours here are really well done, and the traditional grey waves in the background are a great touch.

A traditional bull terrier tattoo, featuring some cherry blossoms and waves, for a lovely Japanese twist!

Another dog tattoo, this time in neo-traditional form.  Col is not one to shy away from his traditional style of tattooing.

If you're after a Japanese style tattoo then we'd highly recommend paying Col a visit at Gentleman George's Tattoo Parlour. Head over to Col's instagram page to check out his work and keep up to date with any tattoo conventions that he has planned.  If you love the Fusion Tattoo Ink Range and are looking to buy yourself some new inks then make sure you check out the brilliant range of vibrant inks that we have in store.

Love Toni
