The panther is a mysterious and majestic creature that is both ferocious and handsome at the same time. This particular feline, who is more commonly known as the Black Panther is a member of the Big Cat family, native to Asia, Africa and the Americas. Panthers are not actually a distinct species themselves, but ‘panther’ is the umbrella term used to refer to any black coloured feline of the Big Cat family, generally Leopards and Jaguars.  


Panthers are mystical creatures that symbolise dominance and strength, and in men - sexual virility. Given their cool status in the Big Cat world, it's not surprising to see that Panthers are quite a common subject matter when it comes to tattoos.
