Tattoo trends come and go, but a trend that we love, and that definitely seems to be here to stay, is Mandala tattoos. They're versatile, eye-catching, and they look so uniform with their perfect symmetry, and although they've been around for a while, they certainly seem like they're here to stay!  They seem to have become a lot more prevalent over the past few years and we can't get enough of them. Mandalas are spiritual figures that represent the universe in Hindu and Buddhist symbolism, and they're also a beautiful metaphysical representation of the cosmos, so it’s not surprising that given its spiritual meaning and aesthetically pleasing symmetrical qualities it’s became a really popular subject for tattooing in recent years.

There are endless possibilities with Mandala designs, (like with a kaleidoscope or snowflake given their unique qualities), so it’s great to see all of the different variations of Mandalas that tattoo artists produce. No matter what style you're into, a Mandala can be represented in many ways, with old school artists and blackwork artists alike creating some beautiful designs.
