True Gent Protective Tattoo Film Roll

True Gent Protective Tattoo Film is a breathable polyurethane aftercare second skin film designed to protect fresh tattoos while supporting the natural healing process.

The waterproof yet permeable material helps lock in the skin’s natural fluids while still allowing the area to breathe and perspire comfortably. This creates a protected environment during the early stages of healing while helping shield the tattoo from external dirt and irritation.

Designed for use as a second skin barrier, the film sits closely against the skin and flexes with movement for comfortable wear throughout healing. The transparent finish also allows visibility of the tattoo without needing to remove the film.

The 15cm × 10m roll format allows you to cut the required size for each tattoo, making it suitable for both smaller and larger pieces.

Directions for application:

• Allow the tattoo to bleed for around 10 minutes before application.
• Gently clean and fully dry the tattoo and surrounding skin.
• Apply the film with the protective side facing downwards while peeling away the backing paper.
• Press down the edges firmly, ensuring at least 3cm coverage around the tattoo.
• Peel away the top protective layer.

Directions for removal:

• Warm the skin using clean warm water to soften the adhesive.
• Carefully peel the film back slowly towards the centre while remaining parallel to the skin.
• Apply additional warm water if needed.

Usage information:

Carry out a patch test before use. The film can typically be worn for 8–24 hours depending on tattoo weeping. Reapply as needed over the next 6–7 days. Replace immediately if the film becomes loose, dirty, or excessively saturated.
