Interview with Doris Lam - Sponsored Artist of the Month

Magnum Tattoo Supplies' Sponsored Artist of the Month for September 2021, is the talented Doris Lam!

What drew you to Magnum Tattoo Supplies?

I have seen many talented artists sponsored by MTS and was ecstatic when I was asked to be part of the sponsored artists!

What is your favourite thing about your job as a tattoo artist?

My favourite thing about my job is that I meet so many lovely people who are genuine gems and I get to create beautiful artwork for them.

What motivates you within your role?

Fellow artists motivate me a lot, I love seeing the creative concepts and techniques they use and it makes me strive to focus on creating more flashes and artwork.

What's your favourite product on the Magnum website?

My favourite products are the different colours and brands of ink, I have an addiction to buying more and more to add to my collection!

What is your proudest moment so far professionally?

My proudest moment was when I did my first tattoo convention on my own, I was so nervous but I had such an amazing time and met so many lovely people there!

What would you say to anybody who would like to get sponsored by Magnum Tattoo Supplies?

Just work hard! I think producing work to the best of your ability is so important.

What’s next for you?

I am hoping to do some more tattoo conventions and have my first travel out of the U.K. to tattoo!
