Brilliant Black & Grey work from Ladislav Hacel | Buy the Victor Portugal Set Online 0

This week we're taking a look at some of the incredible black and grey work done by our super talented Pro team artist Ladislav Hacel. Known for his amazing realistic work, Ladislav works from Alone in the Dark Ink in Didcot.  He's an exceptionally talented artist with a very solid work ethic which we hugely admire.

Ladislav moved from Slovakia to the UK in 2007, and decided that he loved the idea of pursuing a career in tattooing, and he got the ball rolling by learning to tattoo, whilst working 2 other jobs in order to fund the early stages of his tattoo career.  After a few years of mastering the technical art of tattooing, Ladislav opened his own tattoo studio in Didcot, where he's worked from ever since.

Gorgeous Geometric Tattoos from Paul Davies | Buy Black Tattoo Ink Online 0

This week we're looking at the amazing geometric tattoos done by our pro-team member, the incredibly talented Paul Davies, better known on his Instagram page as @paulokink.

Paul started off by studying Fine Art at University, but his love for tattoos took over, with Paul falling into the art of tattooing in 2009.  He began doing hand poked tattoos in a variety of styles, then later moved on to geometric work, focusing on geometric designs, merging them with other styles he'd enjoyed in his earlier career.  Paul decided he wanted to settle down in a lovely and relaxed corner of the UK, and around 5 years ago he moved to the beautiful village of Kingsbridge, Devon, where he worked alongisde the talented Dris Donnelly.  In November 2017, Paul took over the studio and changed the name to Ragnarok because of his love of Norse mythology.

Reelskin - Synthetic Tattooable Skin for Apprentices | Buy Reelskin online 0

Being a tattoo apprentice can be extremely challenging, especially in the early days of your career before the nerve wracking day when you're finally able to put needle to actual skin. That's why there are plenty of synthetic tattoo skins on the market to help with the tattoo learning process, giving apprentices the perfect opportunity to learn on life-like skin.  This creates the most true to life experience as possible, as the 'skin' you practice on feels and looks just like real skin, but it takes the fear out of practicing on real skin.

Why get a Cover up tattoo? | Laser Aftercare from The Aftercare Company 0

Cover up tattoos are the perfect solution for those who want to completely mask a bad or regrettable tattoo that they no longer wish to have.  The majority of us will have had bad tattoos at some point in our lives, and for many people it's not too much of an issue, especially if they're small or in a pretty discreet place, but for others it's not always the case, and it can have a hugely negative effect on their confidence. This is where cover up tattoos can be a saving grace for those who've had something done that they've later gone on to regret.

Orange Is The New Black Tattoos | Orange & Black Tattoo Ink 0

The 7th, and final installment of Netflix Original's Orange is the New Black hit our TV screens yesterday, and we're feeling rather emotional that this will be the last time we'll seeing the Litchfield ladies.  OITNB first graced our screens in July 2013, and we've been hooked ever since!  Admittedly it was a bit of a slow burner in the first season, but it's been action packed ever since, making us laugh, and cry.

Weird & Wonderful Stranger Things Tattoos | Obsidian Tattoo Ink 0

The return of the highly anticipated 'Stranger Things' is here, and we've been waiting in suspense for the third installation of this weird and wonderful TV-series.  We won't spoil anything for those who haven't watched it, but what we can say is that you're in for one hell of a ride this season!  Following its release in 2016, Stranger Things has gained a huge cult following with fans marking their love for the TV show with some really cool Stranger Things-themed tattoos – and who could blame them?
