Every 4 weeks we show appreciation for our Sponsored Artist of the Month. Each month we like to focus on a particular artist as we endeavour to find out more about them, and take a look at some of the recent tattoos they’ve made.  An artist that we’ve always been completely in awe of is the extremely talented Rachael Rose.

Rachael has been on our pro-team for almost a year now, and we're constantly admiring her beautiful and unique style.  Rachael's work is intricate and at the same time very striking, and she executes all of her tattoos gracefully, edging towards a really organic and botanical style. The subject matter of Rachael’s work varies between animals, plants, and all things nature, and we firmly believe that she really is one to watch right now!

Rachael began her career in tattooing around 6 years ago. After an original career path in Law, she studied Contemporary Fine Art and Animation at University but had her goals set on becoming a tattoo artist. Rachael made the decision to leave University  and eventually landed an apprenticeship. She works hard every day to push herself and develop her style, constantly painting in her spare time, drawing lots of influence from nature. She loves anything botanical but is also fascinated by occult imagery. Rachael works from Lucky 13 Tattoo in Barnsley alongside a team of incredibly talented tattoo artists, so if you’re ever headed that way then we'd highly recommend paying them a visit!

First up – a gorgeous fruit bat accompanied by some pretty blackberries. This is the perfect example of how Rachael’s work completely encompasses nature, and we absolutely love it

Rachael has a real knack for creating some fantastic bird tattoos. A personal favourite of ours – some colourful love birds.

A charming Mason Jar with some super-cute botanical elements to it! We’re completely in love with this piece.

An awful lot of Rachel’s customers specifically seek her out for the beautiful pet portraits she does. We’ve seen many lovely cat tattoos that Rachael has made, and this one is spectacular.


We’re so fortunate to have such an incredibly talented artist on our pro-team, and we really enjoy keeping up to date with Rachael’s intricate work.
