It's almost time for the Chinese New Year celebrations to begin. The festival which celebrates the beginning of a new year on the traditional Chinese calendar is a beautiful occasion that lasts around 3 weeks. Usually referred to as the Spring Festival in mainland China, Chinese New Year celebrations typically consists of fireworks, putting up decorations, lots of wonderful food, and exchanging red envelopes with gifts of money. It's a symbolic time in which to embrace new beginnings, whilst also reflecting on the past.
This month we're taking a look at some of the incredibly dark neo-traditional tattoos done by our Pro-team member Adam Link. Adam's work consists largely of some super cool horror-themed neo-traditional girl heads, animals, and skulls. All of which have some really chilling and dark elements to them, which when coupled with his eye-catching neo-trad style look really awesome and unique. His work is really recognisable, with a macabre yet beautiful aesthetic to it, which is why he's one of our favourite artists out there.

There have been quite a few newspaper articles recently that have raised the question 'Should face tattoos be banned for under 21's?'. At present, in the UK anybody can get a tattoo if they're over the age of 18, but with the rise of celebrity tattoos and the presence of tattoos across social media, there's definitely been a spike in the number of people wanting face tattoos. But with face tattoos come consequences, especially for those who are young and may not have an established or long term career that allows for such body modifications in the workplace, so artists are raising the question of whether it's moral, and if there should be more regulations in place for such things.
It’s almost December which means that people across the nation are going to be putting up their Christmas trees soon (if they haven’t already done it!). We love the whole process of choosing a tree, getting it home and decorating it, it's one of the best parts of Christmas! Even if your tree isn't a real one, it's still one of the most exciting things to do. Whether you opt for traditional colours like red and gold, or if you prefer a burst of multicoloured baubles, there’s so many ways in which a Christmas tree can be decorated. The possibilities are literally endless, and the same can be said for Christmas tree tattoos!
Last month we saw the highly anticipated release of El Camino, the 'Breaking Bad Movie' that fans of Walter White have been eagerly waiting for. Breaking Bad sees family man and science teacher Walter White spiral into a world of drugs and gangsters when he begins to cook crystal meth to earn money for his family following his cancer diagnosis. Following on from breaking bad, El Camino focuses on Walt's sidekick Jesse Pinkman after his escape from captivity, and his attempts at piecing his life back together after Walt.
